This department, having obtained the qualification certificate for consultancy services from the Planning and Budget Organization of Iran and holding the highest rankings in surveying, micro-geodesy, photogrammetry, hydrography, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), has also achieved the distinction of being a top consultant in the field of Geomatics sciences.
Utilizing the most precise and up-to-date specialized tools along with experienced and competent experts, the Geomatics Department of MGCE has been honored to execute over 400 national and international projects, cumulatively covering approximately 8 million hectares of mapping in various types and scales. These projects have encompassed objectives including the preparation of topographic, cadastral, hydrographic, and land-use maps; maps for resolving land disputes; adaptation and documentation of natural resources and agricultural lands; production of Orthomosaic imagery from aerial and satellite data; maps for oil and gas facilities; micro-geodesy; and the design and development of various Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
