In order to develop international cooperation and follow up on overseas projects, Ali Noorzad, CEO of Mahab Ghodss Company, along with a group of company vice presidents and managers, traveled to Sri Lanka in May of this year. The trip was conducted with the aim of reviewing the latest status of ongoing projects, following up on the delivery schedule of their items, and planning for entering the implementation stages of the projects.

Reviewing the progress of the Via Ovia project

One of the most important programs of this trip was a meeting with the Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation of Sri Lanka. In this meeting, after exchanging views and official greetings, the importance and priority of joint projects, especially the V. Oya project, were emphasized.

Next, the parties reviewed the latest status of the supply and delivery of project items, the schedule for implementing contractual obligations, and upcoming plans for the project to enter the implementation phase.

In a meeting with the project manager and project implementer, V. Ovia, Noorzad explained the results of the meeting with officials from the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation of Sri Lanka, emphasized Mahab Qods Company’s commitment to its contractual obligations, and announced the plans made for the timely delivery of project items.

Exploring new areas of cooperation

In another part of this trip, the issue of transferring equipment and supplies belonging to Mahab Quds Company from the Uma Oya project to the designated location of the V Oya project was discussed, and the necessary coordination was made in this regard.

The possibility of CECB’s participation in cooperation with Mahab Quds to participate in the tender for a large-scale project was also another focus of the negotiations.

At the end of these meetings, the parties, while expressing satisfaction with the current cooperation process, emphasized the continuation of interactions and the pursuit of new cooperation opportunities, and announced their readiness to develop technical and engineering relations in future projects.
