During his visit to Mahab Ghodss, the Cuban Ambassador requested the company to conduct comprehensive water resources studies for his country.

Continuing its pursuit of expanding international cooperation, the Mahab Ghodss Consulting Engineering Company hosted Jorge F. Lefebre Nicolás, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Iran, and a high-ranking delegation including the President of the Cuban Chamber of Commerce and the Director of the Department of Economic and Commercial Policy for Africa and the Middle East.
During this meeting, Ali Nourzad, the company’s CEO, while welcoming the Cuban guests, outlined the company’s extensive capabilities in the study and design of water projects, environment, and sustainable water resources management. He also announced Mahab Ghodss’s full readiness to implement comprehensive projects at an international level.
Noting their country’s need for modern scientific and technical solutions, the Cuban delegation proposed that Mahab Ghodss be tasked with conducting land-use planning and water resources studies in Cuba. This request was based on Mahab Ghodss’s successful track record of executing over two thousand national and international projects—projects that have established the company’s name as one of the most reputable brands in water engineering in the region and the world.
Emphasizing the importance of this cooperation, Nourzad stated: “We believe that water resources management is the key to sustainable development, and Mahab Ghodss, with its technical expertise, international experience, and specialized human resources, is prepared to offer the best solutions to friendly nations.”
The Cuban Ambassador’s visit can be considered a turning point in strengthening technical, economic, and scientific relations between Iran and Cuba—an event that could usher in a new chapter of sustainable and effective cooperation in the fields of water and the environment.
