Capacities for expanding the company’s international activities and strategies for a more prominent presence in the Omani market were examined during a meeting between the CEO of Mahab Ghodss and the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Oman.
In line with expanding international interactions and strengthening an effective presence in regional markets, the CEO of Mahab Ghodss Consulting Engineering Company and his accompanying delegation met with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Oman. This meeting took place on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Oman, coinciding with the business trip of the Mahab Ghodss CEO and his delegation to the country. During the meeting, topics related to expanding the company’s activities in the Omani market, cooperation opportunities, and the requirements for a more effective presence in the country’s projects were discussed.
Outlining the Achievements of the Mahab Ghodss Business Trip
At the beginning of the meeting, Ali Nourzad, CEO of Mahab Ghodss Consulting Engineering Company, while appreciating the support and cooperation of the Iranian Ambassador to Oman, outlined the achievements of the business trip.
Referring to the successful hosting of the specialized technical workshop, “AI Applications in Dams and the Mahab Ghodss Smart Assistant” in Oman, he noted that the program received a favorable reception from the Omani client, and proposals for expanding cooperation and implementing this infrastructure under contract have been submitted.
The Mahab Ghodss CEO also highlighted the company’s new approach toward transitioning into “Smart Mahab,” emphasizing the group’s plans to develop internal infrastructure, utilize modern technologies, and launch a smart assistant with the goal of providing more advanced services to clients.
Ambassador of Iran Emphasizes the Status of Mahab Ghodss in Engineering
Mousa Farhang, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Oman, described Mahab Ghodss’s innovative approach to introducing specialized capabilities through training and knowledge transfer as an effective initiative for developing professional relationships and creating opportunities for cooperation. He also suggested that for future meetings and programs between Mahab Ghodss and Omani clients, the Ambassador and the Commercial Attaché should be present to support and strengthen interactions and provide more effective assistance to the activities of Iranian companies.
Examining Requirements for a Stronger Presence in the Oman Market
In another part of the meeting, challenges and solutions for increasing Mahab Ghodss’s active participation in tenders, expanding engineering service delivery, and leveraging AI technological capabilities were examined. Furthermore, in line with Oman’s Vision 2040, upcoming opportunities in infrastructure projects and the role of knowledge-based engineering services in expanding activities were discussed.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the necessity of continuing communication between Mahab Ghodss, the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Oman, and the country’s economic and specialized entities was emphasized to facilitate a more effective presence in the Oman market.
The meeting was attended by the Mahab Ghodss CEO’s Advisor on Artificial Intelligence, the Deputy of Market Development, the Deputy of Strategic Planning, as well as the current and former Commercial Attachés of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Oman.
