New Project Further Strengthens Mahab Ghodss’ Long-Term Cooperation with Nama Water Services

Mahab Ghodss Consulting Engineering Company has commenced a new water and wastewater infrastructure project in the Sultanate of Oman, further expanding its international engineering activities and continuing its technical cooperation with Nama Water Services.
The project, entitled “Design and Supervision of Wastewater Network Systems and Associated Wastewater Treatment Plants in Al Juwaif and Al Khatwah”, officially commenced with a kick-off meeting held on August 4, 2026, at the Nama Water Services headquarters.

The meeting was attended by Ali Nourzad, Chief Executive Officer of Mahab Ghodss, together with members of the Company’s delegation, representatives of Nama Water Services as the Client, and members of the project’s multidisciplinary technical teams.

Comprehensive Engineering Services for Wastewater Infrastructure

The primary objective of the project is to provide comprehensive engineering services covering:

  • Conceptual studies;
  • Preliminary and detailed design;
  • Preparation of tender documents;
  • Design of wastewater collection networks;
  • Design of wastewater treatment plants;
  • Design of treated effluent (TE) loading station systems; and
  • Supervision of construction works.

Through these services, the project will support the development of integrated wastewater collection, treatment, and treated effluent management infrastructure in Al Juwaif and Al Khatwah.

Commitment to Quality, Schedule and Environmental Requirements

During the kick-off meeting, representatives of Nama Water Services emphasized the importance of delivering the project to the required quality standards, maintaining the approved schedule, and fully complying with applicable technical and environmental requirements.
Ali Nourzad, Chief Executive Officer of Mahab Ghodss, reaffirmed the Company’s commitment to delivering high-quality engineering services, maintaining effective project management and implementation processes, and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
The technical teams of Mahab Ghodss from both the Tehran and Oman offices subsequently presented the project’s technical scope and implementation approach and responded to questions raised by the Client’s representatives.

The meeting concluded with an emphasis on continuous coordination among the project teams, effective deployment of specialized engineering personnel, and strict adherence to quality and environmental standards to ensure the successful achievement of the project’s objectives.
The commencement of this project represents another important step in Mahab Ghodss’ international business development strategy and further strengthens the Company’s established cooperation with Nama Water Services in the water and wastewater sector of Oman.
